Well, we’ve officially been in the house living for about 6 months now, and things are already starting to change.  Not the renovation kind of change…that’s a given:)  But the decoration change!  There are a couple of reasons why….

1.)  I was using my things from our last house in this house for the time being.

2.)  I hadn’t quite decided my style yet.

3.)  Seasons changed:)

So, my first redo was our downstairs bathroom, which coincidentally was the first room done in the house!  I did like the finished product but I was using the shower curtain from our master bedroom in the old house and it just wasn’t quite the look I was going for.  I have recently committed myself to more of the true country/cottage/farmhouse look.  So, here’s what she looked like before..

I had to add some green for spring as well..

and last thing I did..which was really the inspiration for the room, was to update the shower curtain.  My friend had this curtain and I loved it, just the charm I was looking for:)

You can never go wrong with birds :)

So I took this contemporary bathroom and gave it a little more country feel:)  Ryan just loves it when I start changing things 6 months after I did it the first time!!

Nothing too hugely drastic except I pulled my mirror I had in the living room in the bathroom. I love how the white pops on the dark.

That's a given...
