Christmas At Lakeside Cottage

It was so fun decking the halls at Lakeside Cottage for you all to enjoy this Christmas season.  If you are interested at staying at our rental, find all the booking information HERE.

Christmas will forever be my favorite for so many reasons, but I love the cozy atmosphere it provides while providing escape from the cold outside.  I decided to decorate Lakeside with a lot of faux greenery and cozy textures to bring the outside in but make you feel warm and cozy.  You can find all of the Christmas links I used below and keep reading to get more information and links to the rest of the cottage.

Adding a few sprigs of greenery to a chandelier or lighting makes it look so festive without trying too hard.

If you have a frame TV, one of the easiest ways to add decor is by changing the art.  I loved this simple reminder this holiday season, and the black just popped with the decor making it look elegant.

Adding some ornaments and greens to a bowl or tray is a beautiful centerpiece.  Its super easy to do and you can use leftover ornaments that you have!

I also loved using this purse holder to hang an oversized ornament from.  You could also add a large bell.  It brings in height and a different element into your decor.

Adding 3 small wreaths to the back of the stools and greenery over the window make every inch of the cottage feel decked out for Christmas.  I attached the wreaths with brown velvet ribbon and I used one 9' strand of cedar garland for around the window.
