LET'S CLEAN THE HOUSE TOGETHER

Let's clean together!

After working so much at Lakeside Cottage, I have realized my home has been a bit neglected.  I took some time after getting the bathroom done to whip it back into shape!  I like to do a good deep clean throughout my house.

I thought I'd show you the tips and tricks that I've learned over the years and the tools/supplies that I always keep on hand! These products make it so easy to get the house sparkling in no time!

I never let these items go our of stock around my house! When I do a good deep cleaning these are staples for me. Some of them I use daily too like the pet hair remover!

Let me in introduce you to my new best friend! The MopVac by Tineco. I got this bad boy in December after I saw an instagram friend share it and it has changed my life very since, but for real. The level of cleaning this vacuum/mop can do is next level!

I loved it so much I had to get Mama Sue one for Christmas!!

You can see the cleaning pad moving in the picture below. It's amazing because it not only mops but also vacuums, so think about that under island mess from the kiddos.  No need to vacuum first, just take the tineco and do it all at once.  I also love how the clean and dirty water stay seperate so you are never pushing around dirty water. You should see what the clear section looks like after the job is done, so dirty!!! It is so satisfy at the same time. So if you have a lot of hardwood floors in your house, this may be something that has to be considered to change your life;)  Also ,I wanted to note that this is safe to use on all surfaces since it doesn't steam and it also doesn't use too much water, so it won't hurt your floors.

Now this also is a new discovery (where have these gadgets been my entire life?) LOL. It is a multi use with all of the attachments that come along with it. I use the long handle one to clean my shower and around the base of my toilet, PTL!  and the short ones for the kitchen stove or baseboards etc. The options are endless with this one since it comes with buffer pads, scratchy pads and cleaner pads.

*Be careful for what brush you use as certain ones can scratch up the stainless steel.

The pink stuff. The magic cleaning paste, it lives up to its name let me tell you! I put this down before using that tool above, in the shower on the stove, on pots and pans etc. Magic!!

These are the sister to a Magic Eraser BUT see those ripples all over, those suckers get into all the little crevices that can never be reached.

They are the perfect little dusting tools since your dust gets stuck and stays.  No pushing it into the air.  They get hard when they dry out, but you just run them under warm water and they are ready to go.  Rinse when you're done and stow away in your cleaning caddy until next time!

Hope these tips help save you some time in your cleaning process . Now I'm off to enjoy a clean house:)

Happy cleaning!!
