Sharing all of the details about our Seaside Florida Vacation!

We just got back home yesterday from our family road trip vacation to Florida! We had the very best time ever!

Sharing all of the burning questions of on where we stayed, fun, activities and food recommendations...

Accommodations

We stayed in the Nature Walk Community.

Every place was beyond beautiful, very clean and new. This whole development was only 5 years old!  There were endless bike trails to many different places.

Here is the link to the exact place that we stayed - Click HERE to view.

A huge reason why we went with this specific place is that if came with the 6 person Golf cart and 6 bikes! But there are so many houses in this development for rent!  If you search airbnb in the Seagrove area you will get a huge pick! You can decide then if you want a personal pool or choose one that comes with a golf cart/bikes.  We would 100% stay at this place again! The kids could bike outside while we sat on the front porch. It always felt safe and we got to know our neighbors well!  Such a sweet spot.

SIdenote* we payed $279/night for this house.  When we looked up the price of a golf cart rental it was $100/day.  I'm sure 6 bikes would be the same.  So we thought the price was amazing for the size and amenities it had!  It also had boogie boards and paddleboards we could use!

Food

We tried some pretty fun and cute different places to eat! From Donuts and Shave Ice to Dinner by the water. Here's our favorites regarding food! I will say that staying in this location, there are no chain restaurants and no fast food.  I can appreciate all of the cute coffee shops and one of a kind restaurants, but it can get pricey.  We ended up traveling about a half an hour to a walmart and stocked our fridge and pantry and ate in all breakfasts and lunches to help save on costs, and also grilled in for suppers half the nights as well! But below we listed some of our favorite places we ate at!

- The Donut Hole

This spot was adorable with delicious donuts and games for play outside.

- Hokulia Shave Ice

We went to this place a couple of time. Not only did they have shaved ice that the kiddos love, they also had tons of ice cream flavors to indulge in!

- Black Bear Bread Co.

Ryan and I went to this adorable little coffee shop one morning! I loved it so much I bought a bag a coffee to take home to enjoy.  The outside and inside were absolutely adorable!

- Food Trucks in Seaside FL

These food trucks are so fun! Multiple different spots for everyone to find something that they want to try!

- Hammer Head Bar and Grill

A fun evening spot for dinner that was on the water.  This whole area was called "The Wharf" and had lots of family activities, cute shops and great restaurants.

- Old Florida Fish House

This place was my favorite and the kind of place I love to go to on vacation!

Super yummy fresh seafood, right alongside the water! So beautiful!!

Fun / Activities

Our family likes to spend a lot of the time at the pool or at the beach! Our kids are little fishies and love to swim so that's where we spend a lot of our time. But we did get out a do a couple different fun activities all together - list below!

- Air Force Arament Museum, Fort Walton Beach

This spot was close to the airport after airport drop offs, we stopped here. A very cool spot for the kids to explore and learn.  And a bonus, it's FREE!

- Pontoon Rental - Destin

We did this on Ryan's birthday! We went out to Crab Island (photo above is from that location).

A very shallow sand bar with amazing turquoise water.  To rent a pontoon for 2 hours and up to 16 people it cost $450.  Not terrible if you take a big group.  It was fun to swim in the ocean with no waves and see the beautiful water! We also saw lots of dolphins and took a tour around some of the big waterfront houses.  If it was warmer out and you had more time they have a ton of water rafts and toys you can use.  Along with paddleboards and snorkels.

Golf Cart and Bike Rental

Our place came with both of these like I talked about above, but we would highly recommend renting these for tons of entertainment!

(Both of the rentals can be found at multiple different spots along the beach)

We couldn't recommend this 30A area more!
