  1. Hi Lundeens. I learned of your story from my cousin Rhea and her husband Tom. What a beautiful story God has given you to share. May his allowing of this experience bring all of you closer together and pull you deeper into him. Lifting all of you up in prayer.

  2. Allie, Ryan, and family my heart is hurting for your lost. I am amazed on how strong your family has been and how close you have held the Lord during this season of your life. Your faith has been a blessing to me and the other women in our Monday night Bible study and our small group on Sunday night. They are lifting you up at this time. May the Holy Spirit bring you peace and comfort. Thank you for sharing your precious Juliet with us. I know that Jesus had his arms waiting for Juliet and she now has her perfect body. She will be waiting for you to join her. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

  3. Dear Lundeen’s,

I was made aware of your blog through a mutual friend and have been following your story recently. Thank you for sharing your heart with all of us. Juliet’s story, however brief, is heart-breakingly beautiful. My heart and prayers are with you all as you adjust to a new ‘normal’. I praise God for your witness and testimony and pray for comfort and peace for each family member. How wonderful to know that as Christians we do not have to grieve as the world grieves, but that we can have hope even in times of loss knowing we will see our dear loved ones again with Jesus someday. God Bless you over and over again.

I am so happy for your sweet little girl to be free of pain and dancing in paradise! I am so sorry for your loss and your hurt! We have never met but I sit here crying for you. I thank you for choosing life for Jules and for sharing your story. She has touched so many lives in just 6 short weeks. May God hold you so close to Him now!

  5. I’ve always teared up when I hear this song, and the final verse just seems to fit so well…

    And with your final heartbeat,
    Kiss the world goodbye,
Then go in peace, and laugh on glory’s side.
Fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus,
    Fly to Jesus and live!

Know that you’re surrounded by literally hundreds and even thousands of people and families and Bible studies praying for you all. We love you guys!!!

    The Rock Family

P.S. Allie, didn’t your mom always say something about “another jewel in your crown”? Even as we’re mourning with you, we’re rejoicing that Jules has her own little crown FULL of jewels now!!!

  6. Allie & Ryan,

First I must say how proud we are of you for embracing LIFE and dealing with the challenges that came your way. Our faith is the only important thing in Life and without it these challenges would we very hard to face. Our God is so BIG that we can turn all the things of this world over to Him and let Him walk us through it. Becasue you chose LIFE for Jules you have gotten to probably minister to over 100,000 people and they have in turn ministered to you. What an awesome thing to know that – that many people were holding you up in prayer. They were like the Holy Spirit interceding for you when it was hard to pray. The love you have shown Jules was huge as I know she was in your arms over 70% of her time on earth and then to think that God loves her (and us) even more!! What a blessed hope we have and to look forward too!!

Again, you have made us proud,
and as we say ” I love you so so much”

  7. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story with the world. It was a message so many, including me, needed to be reminded of. You are your family are a shining example of faith and love. Even though I never meet your sweet Juliet, I will miss her messages.

  8. Just wanted to let you know that your family has been in my thoughts and prayers often. I am Lisa Erickson’s sister and have been following your story since before little Juliet was born. I believe you have been an inspiration to many as you shared your faith journey through this. God never promised us that life would be easy and that we would not face trials, but He did promise never to leave us or forsake us and in doing so He walks right beside us through it all! Praise Him for that! I am grateful (as I am sure others are) for the godly example you have shown in loving Jules for however long she was meant to be here and that God had a plan and purpose for her. Through her, & your love for her, many lives have been touched! You have given courage to others to live in such a way that honors God, no matter what the trial is. Blessings to you and your family as you grieve her loss but celebrate her going home to be perfected in the arms of Jesus!

  9. Sorry to hear the news…will be praying for God’s peace and protection for your family. Jules was definitely a gift from God.

  10. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you feel how everyone is lifting you up included Jesus. I am in awe of your little angel. She accomplished alot while she was in this kingdom! And now she can do so much more!! Thoughts and prayers still being sent your way!

  11. I was so sorry to hear about Juliet’s passing. I hope that all families who hear that their child is “incompatible with life” hear about your story, and gain comfort from it. God always has a plan, and despite not getting to see your little one grow up, you know that you got to know her and will get to see her again one day.

    God bless.

    Dear Allie
I am so sorry for your loss! Thank you so much for sharing your little angel with us. Your family has truley showed us the love of God! And we have all been truely blessed, and touched by your little angel! May God bless you , and hold you in his loving arms!

  13. I am awe struck by the faith and grace of your family. While others would have crumbled under the stress and pain, you have stayed strong and stayed true. Jules was a beautiful little girl and only proved that God’s love comes in packages of all shapes and sizes. Amazing what an impact someone so small and so young could make on so many people. Thank you for sharing your story and your incredible little girl with us. We are all grieving the loss of your earth angel, but celebrating the new angel you have up above. My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless!!!

  14. I’m so sorry to hear your news, but so grateful that you were able to love Juliet and get to know her on Earth for 6 weeks! It must still be so hard to let her go. I pray that God, your family and friends, and your online community give you some sort of solace and strength. Blessings on you family!

  15. I re-read your November blogs this morning. My cereal became water logged with all those salty tears falling in. Thank-you for being so transparent and allowing so many of us to share this incredible experience with you. I look forward to dancing with Jules some day! What I have learned throughout my long life is that God is God, and I am not. His ways and his understanding is always far above mine. Stay there, stay in the shelter of his arms. And know that there are so many of us sharing your family’s grief and holding you all up in prayer

  16. I’m lifting your family up in prayer and am sad for your loss of Juliet. We lost our baby, Paul, to Trisomy 18 8 years ago and the feelings are still raw when I read about Juliet’s death. It’s going to be hard but God promises that He won’t give us more than we can handle. We have found that He has used Paul’s death as a blessing to be a support to others who are going through a similar situation. I admire your openness throughout Juliet’s life and the faith that you’ve upheld in His promises and His love. It has touched so many already and will continue to touch others as you share your story. Only He can get you through such a difficult situation so stay close to HIm. One benefit of having a baby in Heaven for us is that it has decreased our fear of death even more. We know of the promise of eternity with Jesus but knowing that we will also be able to see our little one again makes it even less fearful. Our kids also feel this way and know that death is not something to fear. Please feel free to reach out, if you’d like to talk. I heard about your situation from Lindsay Bessingpas and you can get ahold of me through my email or her. You are a beautiful family and will be forever blessed by having Juliet in your life. Blessings to you and your family.

  17. May God continue to bring you all comfort at this difficult time!!! What a blessing to see your great love for Jules, your family and Jesus!!!

  18. Allie & Ryan & family –
The tears are just streaming down my cheeks. My sister introduced me to your story tonight. I started reading October 2012 and just finished with today’s post. God is good, always, always good. You are so extremely blessed and are an amazing witness to God’s words. Your precious angel is now in His arms and is shining in His glory. My husband and I had a unique conversation this evening, and I feel Him speaking to me through your story. I would love to meet you someday. I can not believe you live in Dassel! You are so close by! We have been on a similar journey as yours. Different circumstances . . . yet very similar attitude, miracles, and life changing experience. Our little angel, Megan Ruth, is dancing with your Jules as I write this. You will continue to feel her presence forever, and you’ll continue to rejoice as the opportunity to have been her earthly parents. You are in my thoughts and prayers. And I just know God has a very special reason for having brought me to your site tonight. Huge prayers to you as you continue this journey.
    Lori T.

Thank you for sharing your life with me, as it has strengthened my faith in God and helped me to step back and be thankful for my blessings-big and small:)

  23. “And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them.”
    Mark 10:16

    Ryan and Allie,
May you and your children know God’s amazing peace and strength.
We continue to pray for you and thank you for allowing God to use you, and all three of your children, to teach us about living a life of love and faith.

  41. My heart aches for you and your family. What can I say to a mother who has lost her baby? I’m sure that there can’t be any worse pain in the world. But at the same time, there won’t be anything more glorious than when you are reunited in heaven with your precious Juliet and her perfect body and soul. I can’t wait to meet her someday and we can dance in heaven together. I’ve never met you, but I look forward to spending eternity with such beautiful people.
