Mother’s Day is always a day that gets overshadowed by fishing opener at our household. And when I had babies that used to bother me more, but now that our kids are older, and half go with dad, I take the day to enjoy some quiet time, pamper myself, and buy my own Mother’s Day present:) Call it wisdom, but Ryan and I have both figured out that we are both much happier if I purchase what I want and tell him thank you for the sweet gift:) So today I thought I would share some of my favorite finds with you in case you find yourself in the same boat!

HOME DECOR

Faux trees are so fun to add a pop of green in your house without having another baby to worry about:)  I love this little 4′ olive tree. He would be adorable sitting in front of a mantle, on a buffet, by a tub…or anywhere really! 

And he’d be adorable sitting in this pot! Make sure to get the large size! This pot is also perfect for your patio since its large and the price is right! 

Or if you have smaller areas, this set of two olive trees are perfect! They look so cute sitting on a shelf, mantle, or coffee table! And if you don’t need two, buy them and give one to your mom! Or a friend:) 

A basket is always a great gift as well! I used these for my laundry in my bedroom and they are so pretty! 

And this is such a fun gift for any mom! It’s not only got amazing recipes in, but it looks pretty sitting out in any kitchen! Win win! 

SELF CARE

I don’t splurge on a lot of items for self care, but I do have a few things that I have fallen in love with for my regular routine and thought I’d share! 

This hair dryer is amazing and on a crazy good sale today only! I couldn’t believe it but this hairdryer actually makes my hair feel softer than if I let it air dry. Not to mention that it’s gorgeous as well:) 

One of my most asked about links is this necklace. I wear it everyday and it’s my favorite! It’s Kendra Scott and on sale today for under $40! Which is a great deal for the quality! 

I’m also in love with this lash serum. I had used another kind awhile back that was almost 3x as much as it works just as good! Such a fun treat for yourself:) 

Lastly one of the best things I think you can do for your look is to whiten your teeth! I used to hate doing it because it would make my teeth so sensitive! But then I found these strips for sensitive teeth and haven’t had a problem! 

SOUL CARE

Quite possibly the most important thing you will do for yourself! I have committed to reading through the Bible in a year this year and I have been so blessed by it! I also added some of my favorite of all time books that challenged me in my faith! 

I’m in love with this Womens study Bible! Not only is it cute, but it also adds commentary so it helps you understand the Bible better, which is something I need for sure! 

This book really gave me purpose and also challenged me so much in my faith! such a great study to do, and I guarantee it will change your life in the 40 days! 

And lastly this book really stretched my faith and my knowledge of God and who He is! If you are going through a tough time, this book is for sure a must read!
