Born a Fighter….

We had the opportunity to tell Jules’ story to our local newspaper.  The story came out yesterday and to our surprise Jules made the front page!  They did such a good job with the story and just wanted to share it with you all, we are thankful how God is using such a little package in such a mighty way to touch so many lives!

Here’s the link to the story…..

Jules has been hanging in there all day.  Still on oxygen 24/7, and she has quite the bad cough.

Lord, we place her in your hands.

  1. Of course she made the paper!

She was born to make news!

And she certainly is a headline – she’s famous – – and because of her mommy’s beautiful writing, her story is pointing us all to Jesus. That’s just exactly what God is doing – though it’s heart-wrenching – it’s an amazing story and God is gifting you with the grace and mercy and miracle that comes with Jules’ life.

    Sending love, Wendy

  2. I’ve been reading your story through the links that a friend is posting on FB (she’s from the Dassel/Cokato area). We’ve been so blessed by your testimony and choice of life for your little Juliet. She’s just so precious and we’re praying that you continue to enjoy each moment with her! The Lord is just SO in this, I love seeing His faithfulness on display through your lives.

  3. I came across your blog a few weeks ago and have been following the amazing story of Jules. Though I am a complete stranger I wanted to comment that your family’s story and faith is truly an inspiration. I have cried for Jules and your family, prayed for Jules and your family, and sat in amazement reading about your faith and trust in our heavenly father. My husband and I received news at 13 weeks that our baby boy had Triplody (3 of every chromosome). We too did not believe in terminating the pregnancy as suggested by some medical professionals. Instead we prayed and we lost him 3 weeks later. I read Jules story and I think of that little boy and if I would have been as strong as you are if I could have held him in my arms. You are an incredible mom! Again my prayers and thoughts go out to you and beautiful baby Juliet.

  4. I continue to read your updates on little Jules and what a precious little girl she is. I think of your family every day and the heartache you must be going through. May God give you strength to continue to be strong and loving to little Jules. Hugs and Kisses to that little one with lots of prayers.

What a beautiful angel God gave to you. I first read your story last night as I knew that my very good friend at church is grieving today the loss of her daughter, Kylie 10 years ago today. She was also a Trisomy 18 baby. God gave her to the Earth for 5 days and then took away her suffering and made her perfect. I know you don’t know me from Eve, but I am praying for Jules, and all of you! You have touched me in a way that is helping to reach out to my friend who is still hurting, missing her daughter. Our awesome God is using your daughter in amazing ways. I pray that He lifts you up with strength and peace as you journey with her.

  6. Just wanted to say that your daughter is just breathtaking beautiful!! I loved the picture with the grey hat and flower =) I will pray for your family and ask God to stick to his plan, clearly he has a mission for her and your family! Blessings!

  7. Praying peace and comfort over you, that you will feel the arms of Jesus holding you close and drawing you near. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 134

Much love and prayers to your family.

  8. The story in the newspaper was very touching. I got teary eyed once again reading your story. We continue to pray for Jules and your family. God’s Blessings.

  9. Allison, words cant say just how we are feeling for you and the rest of the family. It saddens me reading about how Jules is having a hard time right now. Jesus is ready to bring her home. Jules is one little fighter!! She doesn’t know it yet, but she has touched so many people in the community in her life!!! Sending you all many blessings as you hold your little angel in your arms before she goes home.
