Dear Juliet….

Dear precious Jules,

This is your momma:)  I’ve come to terms that I may  not hear that phrase come out of your mouth, but so hope you know how much I love you.  I want you to know that you are strong!  You are a fighter!  and you continue to defeat the odds.  You are 32 weeks today.  We have known that you were special for about 6 weeks now, and although we have had time to learn/understand/adjust…it still doesn’t make it much easier.  Your doctors say that they just keep waiting for the call, but every night I smile when your kicks keep getting stronger and stronger.  Thank you for letting momma know that you are hanging on.  It’s those times that I wish I could just take you right out and snuggle you in my arms and kiss your cute little forehead, and whisper in your ear how much I love you.  For now I’ll just keep telling you through my belly.  Your brother and sister love you so much too.  Kynlee loves to rub you and Tate loves to feel you kick.  You usually kick right after he takes his hand off and he says that’s because you miss him.  They tell you often too how much they love you.  Today Tate thought it would be so cool if I could just open my mouth and not say anything but you could talk through it.  Then he said we could hear you, since you can hear us:)  He’s a really cool boy, he’s gonna be a great big brother to you.  I want you to know how many people love you and are praying for you.  God has a special plan for you little lady.  We are trusting Him for that.  Someday you’ll know, and someday I’ll know.  But for now, just keep kicking, okay? Lots of love baby girl!!

  1. Friends,
This precious gift that God has given to you has already accomplished more in her life than many do in the many years that are given to them. For every time the greatness , glory, and love of the Lord Jesus Christ is procaliamed in this journal, or in the conversations that are had with others, there is a rejoicing in Heaven. Through these words, Juliet Faith is winning victories for the Kingdom of our Lord. She is a Lucky little girl to not only have a God that cares for her, but a family that loves Jesus more than they love themselves. Allie, as you said, “She is a fighter”, a warrior for Jesus. What more could anyone ever aspire to be.
    We love you guys,
    Your friends,
    Greg, Amber, Quinn & Keaton

  2. I think this precious little child keeps kicking so hard to let all of you know how much
she loves you and knows you are there for her.Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
She is already such a gift from above.

  3. Hey Allie,
I just found out your news and have read all of your posts about baby Jules with the tears flowing down. My heart breaks for what you and your family have to go through right now, but I’m also rejoicing that your angel will get to be with her perfect heavenly father soon too. What an amazing hope we have as Christians to know that the life God has given you to carry is not just a blob of tissue… she is an incredible work of art, knit together by God himself, loaned to your family for a short time, a unique personality and an everlasting soul. What an honor that God gave you this awesome gift… your precious Jules. He has chosen you, Allie, and I know He will get you through this! I have prayed for you often in the last few days since I’ve known, and wanted you to know that my whole Bible Study at church is praying for you too! Thanks for touching countless lives with your story of courage and faith!
    LYLAS,
    Beth (Wallo) Rock

    1. Oh Beth! You made me smile and cry:) thanks for your sweet words, so good to hear from you. We are so blessed! LYLAS got me, took me a second but put a big smile on my face:) you are sweet!! Xoxo

      1. Hi again, Allie!

Now that I’ve found your blog, I’ll admit… I just had to read it all! From the very beginning and all the way through :) Love it!!!

With all that’s happened in your family’s life in the past just-under-two-years, I don’t know if you’ll even remember… but in one of your very first posts, you mentioned that you always felt kinda bad that you didn’t have some amazing testimony or faith story. (I’ll admit, I’ve always secretly felt that way too!) But do you have any idea the incredible story God is choosing to write in your life right now? It wasn’t that you didn’t have an amazing coming-to-Christ story, it’s just that He was saving yours until later! When you would find out some life-altering news, and still live for Hist glory! When you would be crushed, and still cling to Him! I can’t even begin to understand how it feels to be you right now, going through all of this… but hold on, okay? It’s easy to tell from all of your blog replies how loved you and your family are, and how many dozens, no, hundreds of people are praying for you and baby Jules right now! Here at our house, even Clara (4) and Ian (2) are praying for “Mommy’s friend Allie’s baby.” And we’ll continue to do so…

Sending a huge hug your way,
        Beth
