END OF SUMMER PATIO DEALS

allie • Aug 16, 2020

As the peak of summer winds down I always look forward to soaking up the final days of summer with family. Some of our favorite times are the evenings spent outside together – grilling out, relaxing on the patio or watching the kids play at the lake.

With all that said, it can be so expensive to try and find outdoor furniture on a budget that matches your style. I know the style I want and many times I have to hunt to find it at the budget I want. So, I’ve rounded up a few nice pieces to make any outdoor space feel like a retreat on a budget. I hope it helps you if you’re looking to spruce up your outdoor space for some more quality outdoor time.

Layering in different textures, several colors and heights is the key to designing a cozy space in your home and I like to bring this outside, too.

A lot of times the space starts with one piece I love (big or small!) and I build from there. This sectional (on sale under $500!)  is so pretty and on sale for such a great price right now. Sectionals in this style go for upwards of $1,000 all day, everyday. If you’ve been waiting for a steal this is a great one to get! It even comes with that little table, too.

I would layer a rug under this and add a couple planters surrounding the sectional for a defined space.

  1. For a neutral base  This outdoor rug is 8’x11’ and under $175. I love the design and that it could be layered with just about anything and look great.

2. White, wood tones and blue are always beautiful for an outdoor summer space. This no-fuss rug is safe for outdoors and adds some visual texture to your space. This option is a timeless look with a high-end feel.

3. One more neutral option with minimal pattern I found would look great in any space. The 8’x10′ is a great price and the 5’x7’ is an excellent price under $80.

4. Another option would be to introduce a little color along with the modern pattern.

These are all great examples of how color and texture can give you a totally new look and make the space feel complete

If you have the budget and need the seating, a couple chairs would be great paired with this sectional. You could place them both across from the sectional or perpendicular to the sectional with the chairs facing each other. This look would be great with the sectional I’ve shown above.

This lounge chair is great solo or as a pair with a small side table between. Layer a rug underneath anda cute planter  and you have a complete look ready for morning reading or for relaxing after the kids are in bed.

This side table is a great addition for a cup of coffee or home for a planter. A few of the options I found for this post include a side table, which is awesome. I like to have one at each end of the sofa or in between two chairs to make sure everyone has a place to rest their drink or snacks. This is another nice option. I would use this inside, too!

I like to find the deals for end of season and if you’ve been here awhile you know I love my patio umbrella at the cabin! This  patio umbrella adds such a nice feeling to a deck and is such a practical addition for the days the sun gets a bit harsh. An offset umbrella gives you freedom to choose where you place your shade for a general seating area and gives full usage of your space for furniture.

This 10’ striped option (under $85!) is such a great price and would add a high-end feel to any outdoor space. It’s similar to the one I have at the cabin. This one is available in navy and white stripes.

Another area of the patio that demands most of the budget is the outdoor dining area. I’ve rounded up a few to get your family at the table for under $500.

It is not easy to find an outdoor dining table on a small budget, but I have a hard time justifying spending a lot of money on an outdoor table. A DIY version is less expensive, but I know not everyone is up for the challenge or time to make one. I found this outdoor table  that I think would look nice with any type of style and would hold up to kids and extreme summer temps.

This is another great option that looks identical and folds up for storage, if needed.

This table is oh so pretty – and a little more than I would want to spend typically, but a gorgeous find with a lighter wood option and still under the budget I mentioned.

Here are a few options for chairs. I think black is always a great choice as it requires little maintenance. If you live in a hot climate I’ve also included some lighter chairs that may be a little cooler.

  1. If you picked that light wood table here are some inexpensive chairs to keep you under the budget we mentioned. Here’s another pack of four black chairs for under $150.
  2. This four pack of outdoor grey wicker chairs look very high-end without the price tag that’s usually associated with this look.
  3. These chairs are a great option if you want white as they’ll allow water to drain out and not pool up on the chairs.
  4. And, if you want a little date at home send the kids to the kid table and enjoy a quiet dinner. Yeah, right!

This hammock chair  would be great alone or as a pair. You know I also used a similar swing inside our house. Check out that posthere .

A rocker set would be a nice option if you wanted to add an outdoor seating area for under $200. Add a couple planters and it’s a game changer! The only thing you need is a cup of coffee with a sunrise or a cold drink with a sunset. You pick!

I hope these options gave you a few ideas to spruce up your outdoor area and enjoy some more time outside relaxing. If you give your outdoor space a refresh please tag me on Instagram! I love seeing your projects, too.
