Before
After
Let me be real with you for a minute... I was getting a little discouraged after not seeing much progress for so long here at the Oaks. So one day I decided to do something about it. I pulled in some helpers and it was time to knock out the master bathroom!
This bathroom formed into a look of her own and I couldn't be more in love! Creating these spaces it is so fun to try new things that I haven't tried before, only to find out how you can love it more than you imagined!
The color of this room is called Cromwell Gray by Benjamin Moore. But it really turns into a chameleon color depending on the time of day and which wall of the room you are looking at! And we did color drench the room, meaning coloring the ceiling and trim too. I've very happy with that decision.
Last minute I decided to add box molding to the room. The whole process of that took just over an hour and was less than $100 worth of trim total! It really added the right amount of extra I was searching for without going overboard.
I rallied Tate to help me tile this shower! He was a great helper, He would butter the back of each tile with mortar so we get maximum adhesion, while I would cut the tile and place it.
I decided to go with more of a statement for this shower tile and chose the Polished Fluted Ceramic Tile in Black. I went in with a dark charcoal/black grout too so it would blend nicely while still going with the dark statement vibe.
This is the only double vanity we have in this entire house so I wanted it to be one I was sold on. And I am very glad we went with it. For a good amount of storage and counter space! The color us gorgeous as well!
We decided to go with this North and Finch wallpaper. I am in love with it. It added so much charm! It's called Vintage Meadow. Traditional pasted wallpaper is so much easier to hang than peel and stick because you can shift it!
And this adorable vintage looking flower art print fit oh so perfectly right in the middle of both mirrors!
