THE BUNKROOM AT LAKESIDE COTTAGE
The Bunkroom at Lakeside Cottage
This second room at The Lakeside Cottage is complete!! eekkk!! I am beyond excited to be at this point in the process of renovating this property. This little room was tiny and dark with it's chocolate brown walls. It felt super uninviting. We painted all of the walls and trim the color Locally Grown, by Magnolia Paints, which instantly brightened it.
Let's take a trip down memory lane for some before and afters to remember what it looked like in the beginning..
Before

After
The bunk beds were a game changer in here. This room is small but we needed it to function big! When I found these bunk beds I was so excited that we could fit a full queen underneath and sleep 3 comfortably. I wanted this room to be playful and fun for kids, but also sophisticated enough for adults to be comfortable in here as well.
Before

After
It is no secret how much we love Beddys around here!! If I see the opportunity to use them, you best believe I will be!
I thought for having bunkbeds in here how smart that would be for washing often, super easy removable and applying fresh and clean! I fell in love with this pattern which is called "Monroe."
I found this fun arch cabinet on amazon, and I love the style of it but it was a bugger to put together. We finally got it and it works great for extra storage, clothes, games, bedding, whatever you need!
How cute is this little Teddy Ottoman in the corner. Since this is a kid's room as well, we wanted to have a few toys to play with! This little guy holds some fun toys inside. Perfect spot to store toys!
The statement of this room is the wall candy! The stunning Wall Blush product that I am fully in love with! I had envisioned a calm statement for this room knowing the bunk beds would be going in front of it. But wow it still speaks for itself.
